October Golf IronSolid Grooving the Impact Zone

We were blessed with a beautiful fall day, so what else are you going to do but pull out the golf clubs and hit the course, for at least nine holes of play.  Since the production IronSolid has been introduced we have had some success stories trickle in, yesterday was a very good indicator of the power of this simple device.

I have been away from the game for two weeks, busy traveling and the weather has not been so good for golf. What I have been doing is "grooving the impact zone" using the IronSolid in my garage a couple of times a week.  I came up with this simple drill, where I set the IronSolid down on a piece of old carpet and I just work through the proper motions in the magic impact zone, 12 inches before ball contact and 6 inches after ball contact.  I use an 8 iron and just take short swings make sure not to touch the IronSolid while I am opening and closing the club face. To simulate where the ball would be I tape a piece of paper onto the carpet that looks like a golf ball.  What I am doing here is "greasing the groove" to use a famous training term.  BUY THE IRONSOLID HERE

The results: in nine holes I hit 6 out of 9 greens in regulation, the other three I was in a green side trap pin high, and green side in the first cut on the other two.  My short game and putting was pretty strong even on aerated and sand topped greens. I broke 40 fro the 9!  The solid contact I was able to achieve was amazing.  The IronSolid really works.

I will be putting up a drill section soon on the website. I will be doing the filming at the Pete Dye Club in North Myrtle Beach SC.  Stay tooned.
